Methods to preserve oil paints - An ongoing work in progress
Переглядів 3,7 тис.10 років тому
Several methods have been referred to preserve oil paints. For example, storing paint in a brand new tube or storing paint on a Syringe. Tubing and the Syringe methods are very effective and accurate, in maintaining the fresheness of the paints. Paints can be preserved for a long period of time. Other methods have been proposed: Storing paint on a Plastic wrap, for storing small samples of pain...

Hey hey hey! Those two-named (tertiary) colors have names of their own aswell: Vermillion Or Cinnabar Amber Or Marigold Chartreuse Or Lime Teal Or Cyan Violet Or Indigo Magenta
Font: Segoe Print
Im gonna write purple
Symphony no. 5.
red to purple
Is chartuse you idiot!
That’s brown
Browns can actually be part of a grey tone, like when you use more red.
Awesome 😊
very useful.. thank you for sharing. I wonder though what the underwater paint would look like after 5 months.
Thank s a lot...I was searching for such experiment
Explanation: Red, Yellow & Blue appear and then red & yellow multiplies themselves so red and yellow mixed to make orange. Then blue and yellow multiplies themselves to make green. Another circle pops up and colored it purple so red and blue mixed to make purple. We move on to tertiary colors, yellow and green make Chartreuse, orange and yellow make Marigold, orange and red make Vermillion, red and purple make Magenta, blue and purple make Violet, & lastly, blue and green make Aquamarine. That's 12, ending. Note: I used colors from Gabinations
link??
Even though I never actually used ArtRage or similar software, these videos, especially this one and the olive green, were beyond incredible to me a decade ago as a young kid who really liked colors and mixing colors. I don't know where you are now, but thank you. This was a magical experience. :)
1:28 purple not violet 3:40 blue purple not blue violet
Violet is also called purple.
What did you find game?
Amazing that it works with the theoretical basic colors red, blue & yellow to mix clean and bright secondary colors & tertiary colors in the program, but in reality instead of purple you get brown if you mix red and blue and instead of green you get gray if you mix yellow and Blue mixes, because red, blue & yellow are actually not primary colors in practice but yellow magenta & cyan, and for me the tertiary colors are called like this, red orange = blood orange, yellow orange = ocher yellow, yellow green = poisonous green, blue green = turquoise, blue purple = indigo and Red purple = fuchsia, on Itten's color wheel where the theoretical primary colors are red, blue and yellow, and the practical primary colors of subtractive color mixing in painting are magenta, cyan and yellow (CMYK) and the secondary colors red, green and blue, and for me the tertiary colors are called yellow-red = orange, yellow-green = poisonous green, cyan green = turquoise, cyan blue = sky blue, magenta blue = purple, and magenta red = carmine red, and with d The additive color mixture in the light colors are the primary colors of light red, green and blue (RGB) and the secondary colors of light magenta, cyan and yellow, and the tertiary colors are also called exactly the same for me, red-yellow = orange, green-yellow = poisonous green, green-cyan = Turquoise, cyan blue = sky blue, magenta blue = purple, and magenta red = crimson, so for example, but nice music and video nonetheless
That’s right
This video has been a lot of time on UA-cam 12 years ago
Dont you have other usernames? Like orange + red= vermillion. Or you don't know that usernames
FAIL! In real life red and blue give you a dark violet color
The color mixing shown on the screen is a different type of subtractive mixing than it is in real life. CMYK is subtractive or printing, which the “Real Color Blending” option in ArtRage converts the RGB (additive, digital, or light) into CMYK, which you usually see CMYK on printers. Real life color blending is slightly different, as RYB is the traditional mixing.
if you buy red, blue, and yellow paint, you cannot make magenta or cyan
but with crans?
it worked with my neon pigments👍
00:10
Wow 9 years
how do you make a fluro red
what happened to the link?
Isnt magenta red hue anyway
This really works.
Thanks for doing this experiment. Were the non drying oils easier to scratch away once dried? ie how tough were they? Thanks.
thank you for your beautiful and dramatic sharing... music and concept all beautiful... and useful!!!!
very helpful. thank you very much.
Good video
Love it! Did you animate this
Blue and red do not make violet but make purple. Violet is a tertiary color and is mixture between purple and red or 25% blue and 75% red color. Red-violet is the real violet, not blue-red, which is pure purple color.
Violet, purple, same thing.
Violet and red-purple, same thing.
I thought Violet was the form of purple with slightly more blue than red, in which purple was a combo of the same amount of blue as red.
This color with slightly more blue content than red is called indigo, which is blue-purple. The order is as follows: Blue 100%/0%; Indigo 75/25; Purple 50/50; Violet 25/75; Red 0/100%;
